IMMERSIVE 360° VIDEO
What is it and how is it made?
Immersive video is a recording of a real world scene, where the whole surrounding view is recorded at the same time using multiple very tightly packed wide-angle cameras. The video footage is stitched together to create a single 360° video file, and played back using a special video player software that allows the user freely control the viewing direction.
Why should I care about it?
360° video is one of the drivers of current virtual reality boom. Using it feels like going through a teleport or a time machine – just put on the VR goggles, and you are instantly in another place, another time! It works great for entertainment, travel agencies, real estate agents, sales representatives etc. Most important thing: people love it.
But I don't know how to make such videos... can you help with that as well?
Shooting for 360° format differs in many ways from traditional film making, so you’ll need a crew who is familiar with it. We are connected to a global network of professional 360° video producers; let us find you a talented local team or choose our turn-key solution that includes both content production and player apps.

Fact: We created a mobile 360/VR video player months before original Google Cardboard was even introduced.
WHY 360 VIDEO?
“We’re never going to be totally immersive as long as we’re looking at a square, whether it’s a movie screen or a computer screen. We’ve got to get rid of that and put the player inside the experience; where no matter where you look you’re surrounded by a three-dimensional experience. That’s the future.” — Steven Spielberg
HOW SHOULD I USE IT?
Take your audience close to the action and spread points of interest around the camera. Treat your viewer as part of the story and create a feeling of presence by making an eye contact. Give a hint where to look at with positional audio, move gently between scenes and provide enough time to explore new environments.
OK, I'M EXCITED! WHERE SHOULD I START?
